What I Expect of Myself

Resolutely make the heroic choice, whenever and wherever the need arises. Lead by example. Learn. Communicate well. Teach. Understand the big picture. Manage relationships proactively with a loose grip and strong personal commitment. Never give up my sense of humour. Spread the laughs around. Always work to design myself out of a job by paving the way for others. Make way for those to follow and leave good works when I go.

What I Expect of Others

These are guidelines which apply to any situation and I follow these too.

Respect Everyone Equally.
Empowered people are productive people.
Everyone must be informed of the strategy to believe in what can be achieved.
Leadership is not a privilege it's a responsibility.
Leadership has a duty to know the strengths, weaknesses, and motivations of everyone on their staff.
Leadership is a duty to cooperatively help employees and peers achieve their personal goals if it's within the scope of the work to do so.
Leadership has a duty to help everyday employees get chances to be heroes for customers, the team, or the company by recognizing effort and achievements.
Environment is the best way to help people feel empowered not bonus checks and pay raises. People are too smart to put up with "carrot and stick" management styles. It brings out negative aspects of natural human behavior in them.
